Roman Shaikhutdinov participates in Mobile World Congress in Barcelona

The Mobile World Congress opened in Barcelona on February 26. Tatarstan Minister of information and communication Roman Shaikhutdinov participated in the event.
Russian delegation led by the Minister of communication and mass media Nikolay Nikiforov looked over exhibition pavilions, held several meetings and participated in summit of leaders.
During the first day of congress Nikolay Nikiforov held meetings with top managers of international producer of telecommunication equipment Juniper Networks, and producers of microchips Broadcom, Intel, MediaTech.
Nikolay Nikiforov also held negotiations with President of National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications of Romania (ANCOM) Marius Catalina Marinesku and Chairman of Mexican Federal telecommunication commission Mony de Swaan Adati.

On December 11, Moscow hosted this year's important IT events: the awards ceremony for the winners of the "Sprint to the Future - Code of Success!" award and the Sprint 2.0 Accelerator Demo Day.
In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
