Over the past two months, retail sales revenue grows by 22 per cent at Tatarstan Pochtasy postal service

The emergence of a new format for the sale of retail goods in post offices helped customers of the Russian Post to save their time. In a few minutes, anyone can receive a range of postal and financial services and make purchases on the spot.

In 2019, retail sales in a new format appeared on the basis of postal offices in 61 Russian regions. To date, about 340 retail points of sale operate in the post offices of Tatarstan.

According to the results of the last two months, the revenue of the Tatarstan Pochtasy postal service from retail sales in branches increased by 22 per cent if compared with the figure for April-May of the previous year. From April, 1 to May, 26, Tatarstan residents purchased about 18,000 kilograms of buckwheat, over 25,000 liters of sunflower oil and over 30,000 packs of black tea in the post offices.
