11 May 2020, Monday

Launched on April 1 to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in Tatarstan, the digital permit service has stopped operating since May 12.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin signed the corresponding document declaring Decree No. 240 dated March 31, 2020 invalidated.

Since April, a system of digital permits, allowing residents of the republic to leave places of self-isolation in cases of need was launched in Tatarstan. Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization together with Digital Transformation Centre and the digital team of Ak Bars Bank developed this service.

During the operation of the service, over 1 million 700,000 Tatarstan citizens registered in it. In total, over 13 million home leave permits were issued. In addition, about 4,000 self-employed of the republic became registered users of the system: they requested a little less than 31,000 digital permits.
