Regional WorldSkills Russia Championship starts at Innopolis University
Since February 5 until February 7, as many as 10 teams in the age category under 21 from Kazan, Innopolis, Nurlat and Chistopol cities will take part in the Regional WorldSkills Russia Championship of Cyber Security and Development of Virtual and Augmented Reality competencies. Winners that will gain more points will go to the Russian championship in their competencies.
Participants of Development of virtual and augmented reality competency will create two applications with augmented reality for the phone and VR glasses.
The participants will fight for earthen territories in the first application and develop a hunting simulator in the second one. It was necessary to develop an interface, game mechanics, create 3D models and set up the sound for each application.
The participants of the Cybersecurity competency will conduct an audit to detect and describe vulnerabilities in web applications. The second task incudes installing the software and its configuration for the correct, safe and uninterrupted operation of the web service. In the third task, participants will investigate the incident and correct the problem on the website, on the pages of which unwanted content appears or the existing information has changed.
