Tatarstan Government allocates grant of $ 1 mln for IT research

This year the Tatarstan Government will allocate the grant of $ 1 mln. to the Higher School of Information Technologies and Information Systems. It is aimed at attraction of talented scientists to republic from across the globe for conducting research in the sphere of information technologies.
IT cluster is being formed in Tatarstan. One of its main tasks is enhancement of social and economic potential of the Republic of Tatarstan by means of adoption of information technologies in real sector of economy. However, this goal cannot be realised without developing human and scientific resources in the Russian IT industry that is experiencing strong shortage of human resources.
Thus, the Tatarstan Government supported the initiative of the Higher School of Information Technologies and Information Systems and provided the grant of $ 1 mln for conducting IT research at the Kazan University.
An important condition for receiving the grant is that within three years a visiting expert will have to train the team of specialists from the Kazan Federal University. The grant winner will be able to take up the post of Head of one of the departments at the Higher School of Information Technologies and Information Systems.

The International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications invites graduates, their parents and all interested individuals to the Open Day event.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
