International forum NANOTECH’2012 opens in Kazan

IV International innovative nanotechnology forum NANOTECH’2012 will be held in Kazan on November 27-29, 2012. Organizers say it will be the place for efficient communication among producers and consumers of nano products, representatives of authorities and higher educational institutions.
At 10 p.m. the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Board Chairman of OAO “ROSNANO” Anatoly Chubais will officially open the Center of nanotechnologies of the Republic of Tatarstan at Technopark “Idea”.
Official opening of the forum will take place at High Technology Technopark “IT-park” at noon.
Chairman of the Russian State Duma Sergei Naryshkin, Plenipotentiary of the Russian President in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, and Board Chairman of OAO “ROSNANO” Anatoly Chubais will open the event.
Session of the Association of innovative regions of Russia led by Chairman of the Russian State Duma Sergei Naryshkin, session of the Association of innovative regions of Russia and deputies of the RF State Duma themed “Legislative support of biotechnological development in Russian regions”, and session of rectors of higher educational institutions of the Volga Federal District will be the most important events held during the forum.
XIII International research and practice conference “Nanotechnologies in industry. NanoBioSafety” and high-tech fair are on the agenda.
The Innopolis project will be presented at the forum in the context of application of new engineering materials in engineering and construction.
The International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications invites graduates, their parents and all interested individuals to the Open Day event.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
