Russian Ministry of communications to help regions

The Russian Ministry of communications has announced the contest for regional projects in the context of the information community. The total sum of federal subsidies will make 670 mln roubles, the maximum sum for a region is 50 mln roubles. Such information was given by press service of the Ministry of communications on Thursday.
The procedure for conducting the contest was approved by the ministerial order and registered at the RF Ministry of justice. The contest starts on November 26.
Only those regions which have adopted informatization programs and provided joint funding of IT projects aimed at development of the information community with attraction of the federal budget will be able to participate in the contest.
The Republic of Tatarstan is intensively developing IT services. In 2012 the budget of “Electronic Tatarstan” program has increased by 1,5 times as compared to 2011. Main funds under “Electronic Tatarstan” program were spent for development of state electronic services, health care and education informatization.
On December 11, Moscow hosted this year's important IT events: the awards ceremony for the winners of the "Sprint to the Future - Code of Success!" award and the Sprint 2.0 Accelerator Demo Day.
In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
