Meeting with representatives of Rostelecom Company held in Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization
On December 23, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Airat Khairullin held a working meeting with representatives of Rostelecom Company on the implementation of the 5G project in Kazan.
Deputy Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the republic Albert Yakovlev, Strategic Development Director of Rostelecom Company Alesya Mamchur, Project Director of the Rostelecom Alexander Dodulad, General Director of Tattelecom Company Airat Nurutdinov, Head of Department Information Technologies and Communications of Kazan Rifat Hannanov and other officials took part in the meeting. The meeting participants discussed the possibility of piloting 5G services on the organization of channels to video surveillance cameras installed in Kazan under the Safe City project. The parties also considered the possibility of piloting 5G services in tourist areas and crowded places, for example, in the Kremlin Promenade, the Kazan City Hall, the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve and the city of Innopolis.
