“Open Tatarstan” presented at session of Government commission on Open Government activity coordination

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov told about the “Open Tatarstan” project at a session of the Government commission on Open Government activity coordination chaired by Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev.
“To implement mechanisms of the Open Government, Tatarstan requires certain level of information development, technological and organisational platform in order to pass on to the new principle of public administration. The main task is to make power open for population and business,” Roman Shaikhutdinov said.
“Close interaction between power and society is the basis of a region’s successful development. Tatarstan leadership set up main criteria of the region’s openness, - the management quality of executive and local self-government authorities, comfort and safety of citizens, investment climate and competitiveness of business environment. These criteria became main elements of the “Open Tatarstan”,” the Minister noted.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
