Infomat with innovation payment technology MasterCard PayPass undergoes certification

Tatarstan’s Ministry of informatization and communications and OAO “Ak Bars” bank inform that infomat with innovation payment technology MasterCard PayPass has undergone certification. Now you can pay for state and municipal services quicker and easier. To do this, just touch the reader with your PayPass card.
The official acquiring bank of the project “Electronic Tatarstan” is OAO “Ak Bars”, the official service provider is Uniteller company.
“Infomats help Tatarstan citizens get state services in a self-service mode on-line. You do not have to stay in long queues to receive a reference, submit an application or pay fees or fines. 145 new-generation infomats are now available in state institutions and public places. We have started installing second-generation infomats based on PayPass technology. 137 infomats of this type are to be installed in Tatarstan,” Deputy Minister of informatization and communications Anisa Gainullina told.
“It is one of the first projects of adopting PayPass technology on self-service devices in Russia. We are glad to present our technologies and global experience for developing cashless payment space in republic and creating comfortable environment for citizens,” Director for sales and development of MasterCard products in Russia, Belarus, and Armenia Aleksandr Dunaev said.
Adoption of PayPass technology is a joint solution of MasterCard, Tatarstan Ministry of informatization and communications, and OAO “Ak Bars” bank within the framework of the project “Center of competence” under the auspices of MasterCard.
