By the end of the year digital TV broadcasting will cover 70 % of Tatarstan territory

Digital TV broadcasting DVB-T2 was launched in Tatarstan in March 2012. Now it covers 40 % of the republican territory. By the end of 2012 the coverage area is to make 70 % and 85 % by 2013. Analog TV broadcasting will not be used in Tatarstan from 2017 at all.
Deputy PM and Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov informed that by and large, 800 mln roubles of federal funds were allocated for digitalization of republic.
On October 11, the Minister held a session of the Republican commission for development of TV and radio broadcasting and transfer to digital technologies at IT-park.
Deputy Director General of the Russian TV and radio broadcasting network Viktor Pinchuk, first deputy minister of informatization and communications Yury Bagrov, Director of “Radio and television broadcasting center of the Republic of Tatarstan” Vladimir Yakimov, representatives of ministries and municipalities participated in the meeting.
The Ministry of construction, architecture, housing and communal services is currently preparing amendments to order of the RT Cabinet №646 under which all houses will be equipped with modern off-air reception networks.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
