As many as 41 participants from 9 regions, including Tatarstan to represent Russia at the World Robot Olympiad

Innopolis University has completed the selection of robotics who will represent our country at the World Robot Olympiad in Hungary in November. Russian participants will compete for medals in all four categories: "Basic", "Advanced", "Robot Football" and "Creative".

Russian IT university held federal training camps, where 36 teams from 11 regions competed, including winners, medalists and participants of the finals of the 2019 All-Russian Robotics Olympiad and WROFIT-2019. After the training camp, as many as 13 teams from Moscow, Vladivostok, Miass, Nizhny Tagil, Ramensky, Mytishchi, Magnitogorsk, Novocheboksarsk and Tatarstan Innopolis got the chance to take part in the world Olympiad.

“Smart Cities” is the theme of the World Robot Olympiad in 2019 aimed at the sustainable development ensuring openness, security, resilience and sustainability of cities and towns.
