Roman Shaikhutdinov: We are waiting for changes in legislation

More than 184 thousand Tatarstaners use state services. Significant obstacles restraining development of electronic state services are found in legal environment, Roman Shaikhutdinov said.
Authorities have been creating a single electronic information environment for several years. First innovations mainly concerned the work of government employees who started using electronic documents flow. Tatarstaners have felt global electronization since July 1, 2011 when state structures were forbidden to require information from citizens if it is available at other agencies in electronic format. Later on, authorities introduced the notion “digital inequality” when they started discussing lack of internet in remote settlements as a state problem.
In June 2012 the Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev approved the program “Information society”. 7 bln roubles meant for helping regions with realization of IT projects till 2020 were provided under the program.
Tatarstan is one of those regions where work in the sphere of IT projects and state services has already been arranged.
The International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications invites graduates, their parents and all interested individuals to the Open Day event.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
