On August 22, during his working visit to Kazan, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev visited Interregional Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technology and Communications.
He was informed about the activities of the educational institution as an inter-regional centre of competencies. As many as 1600 students are studying here in 11 IT specialties. Students of the technical college are children from 28 regions, including from Tatarstan and five neighboring states.
The college has been participating in the WorldSkills movement for five years and the institution took first place in the WorldSkills Russia ranking in 2019.
As many as six students of the College were members of the Russian national team at the WorldSkills Competitions.
