“People’s control” is the first step in creation of new project “Open Tatarstan”

Five months have passed since the Information system of the Republic of Tatarstan “People’s control” was launched. During this period 3 000 requests supported by 47 880 users have been sent to the system. Such information was given by the Tatarstan Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov at a meeting at the RT Cabinet.
““People’s control” is first step in creation of new project Open Tatarstan. It is the crowdsourcing tool that can help to increase citizens’ quality of life, therefore, their trust in power,” Roman Shaikhutdinov said.
Anyone can contribute to prosperity of the city, improvement of roads, quality of communication in the section “People’s control” on the Portal of state and municipal services of the Republic of Tatarstan.
After registering a personal account, you can leave a message about the problem, attach picture or video and make a note on the map. The user can also support other requests and assess decisions made by agencies.
“People’s control” was presented as the best example of public and clear interaction of the civil society and power at a strategic session dedicated to implementation of tools of the Open Government organised by the federal minister Mikhail Abyzov last week.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
