Social Idea Contest - offer an IT solution in the social sphere
Applications from developers and entrepreneurs from all over Russia and foreign countries for the international contest of social projects Social Idea are accepted until June 19.
The project is aimed at finding the best solutions in the social sphere using MTS digital technologies of mobile telecommunication systems. Pupils and staff of higher educational institutions, employees of research institutions and small innovative enterprises, project teams can offer their ideas. Semifinalists will be determined at the end of June. They will have to go through online training and testing and the winners will be chosen in autumn. Applications are accepted on the official website of the contest. Projects are considered in three nominations:
• Social Mobile (mobile technologies in the social sphere) - development of mobile applications and systems to provide social support to the population;
• Social BigData (Big data in the social sphere) - systems for collecting and processing big data, analytical decision-making systems based on this technology.
• Social Smart Сity (“Smart City” in the social sphere) - the concept of integrating information and communication technologies for managing city property in order to solve existing social problems in society and improve the quality of life of the population as a whole.
Social Idea is held on the platform of the international innovation project competition Telecom Idea, implemented by MTS with the support of Sistema, Ministry of the Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of Moscow since 2011.
