Tatarstan shares the experience of implementation of “smart city” features

On February 26, Director General of the Center of Information Technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Valiullin took part in the 5th Business-Forum “Telecom of the Russian Capitals: ICT on the City’s Duty”, which was held in Saint-Peterburg last week and brought together over 230 participants: representatives of  governments and administrations of the cities of Russia, energy service and other utility companies, manufacturers of electronic devices for measuring, regional and federal mobile operators, developers and integrators of digital solutions and also industry experts. 

The Forum showed that the creation of “smart cities” in Russia became a pressing issue, although this work is at an early stage.
