Tatarstan couples wishing to marry apply to the Civil Registry Office using the Internet

Tatarstan citizens choose electronic rather than traditional submission of applications to the Civil Registry Office. According to the statistics, 97 per cent of all applications for marriage registration in Tatarstan are submitted using the Portal of State Services of the Republic of Tatarstan. For example, since the beginning of the year, about 23,000 electronic applications for marriage registration have been submitted by Tatarstan citizens. Couples wishing to marry book a date and time convenient for them, apply for registration and pay state duty online.
