Last week the communication industry celebrated a professional holiday - Radio and Communication Day. By the holiday, telecom operators in Tatarstan shared the priorities of network development for 2023.

On May 13, at 2 p.m.  International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications invites the future applicants and their parents as well as anyone who is interested in information on additional education in the digital sphere to the Open Day.

Future applicants and their parents will be informed about the admission rules, admission conditions, specialties and peculiarities of studying at the technical school.

Agency for the Support of State Initiatives" and the editorial office of the media "Edinyurok.rf" launch the advanced training programme "Fundamentals of Information Security for Children". The programme is included in the Federal Register of Additional Professional Programmes of Pedagogical Education of Russian Ministry of Education. Teachers of preschool educational organizations, general educational organizations and professional educational organizations can receive free training.

At the official part of the event in the conference hall of the Bashir Rameev IT Park honorary workers of the radio and communications industry were honored and handed in departmental awards.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a Decree stating that from May 26, children under 14 can apply for a fan ID without visiting the Multifunctional Centre. The card will be issued automatically if the parent fills in the data about the child at the State Services Portal.

MegaFon expanded its network coverage by installing a base station in a place of attraction for pilgrims and tourists from all over the country. Now visitors have access to a stable voice signal and Internet at an average speed of 40 Mbps.

On May 7 and May 9, the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting TV tower in Kazan will turn on the festive scenario of architectural and artistic illumination in honor of the Radio Day and the 78th anniversary of the victory in WWII.

A bright dynamic light show will be turned on from 8 p.m. till 11 p.m

From April 25 to April 28, maintenance works to be carried out at TV and radio broadcasting facilities in Novosheshminsk.

On May 14, students of 5-11 classes and their parents will have a free online festival on career guidance «Match Day in IT». The festival is held for the third time and traditionally gathers a large number of interested listeners. 

On May 22, the 102-selection to the residence at the IT Park Business Incubator will take place. For 12 years its team has been helping to implement and develop the ideas of startups.
