The international forum Kazan Digital Week-2023 will be held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre from September 20 to September 22. The mission of the large-scale event is to promote the exchange of scientific and technical information, the consolidation of scientific and technological assets that can efficiently solve the problems of import substitution and import advance, ensure technological sovereignty and data sovereignty as the basis of the leadership of the Russian Federation in international cooperation.

On June 8, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin took part in the business programme of the Forum. The Aide to Russian President Andrey Fursenko, Russian Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov, the Minister of Science and Education of the country Valeriy Falkov made keynote reports.

MTS, a digital ecosystem, using the MTS Research service, studied the opinions of schoolchildren and their parents regarding the future choice of profession. More than 3,000 respondents, including residents of Tatarstan, took part in the online survey. The survey was held in April 2023 among parents and participants of the MTS Generation M digital educational platform for the development of children's creativity in the digital environment aged 7-18 years.

Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin, Chairman of the Board of the Association for the Promotion of Digital Development Rifkat Minnikhanov, Director General of Tattelecom Telecommunication Company Ayrat Nurutdinov answered journalists' questions. Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization noted that this year the Forum received federal status, the organizing committee on preparation for the event is chaired by Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Maksut Shadayev.

On June 3, at the Executive Committee of the city of Kazan, the 10th anniversary awarding of the winners of the All-Russian Youth Contest of Legislative Initiatives "Parliament-2030 took place. In total, more than 48,000 students of higher, professional and general educational organizations from 80 constituent entities of the Russian Federation took part in the contest. This year, participants from the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Lugansk People's Republic (LPR), Zaporozhye and Kherson regions took part in the contest for the first time. Based on the results of the “Parliament 2030” Contest, a collection of bills prepared by the children will be published, and which will be sent to the parliaments of the constituent entities of Russia, the State Duma and the Federation Council.

IT Park continues a series of open lectures for residents and guests of Kazan. The new guest will be the director of the Institute of Biology of Ageing at Lobachevsky University, a scientist-biologist, a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Aleksey Moskalev.

The service for accepting applications to colleges starts operating at the State Services Portal. Applications can be submitted to an unlimited number of educational institutions. It is possible to choose any specialty, profession and form of education. As many as 1129 colleges in 36 regions have already connected to the service. Their number will increase after the start of the admission campaign.

Tatarstan branch of the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network informs about the scheduled service maintenance of radio and television equipment at the Centre in Shemordan.

Maintenance works will be held on June 20 and June 21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Shemordan.

On June 12, the Russian Federation celebrates an important state holiday - Russia Day. On this day, festive events will be held in all cities of the country.

The interactive quest "Basics of Internet Security" consists of theory and practical tasks with the analysis of specific life situations: phishing links, attempted theft of money or social media accounts, unwanted communication, fake news and content not intended for children. Schoolchildren will learn how to create a secure password and identify a phishing email, which links should not be followed, and which offers from strangers should not be accepted.
