From September 20 to September 22, the Kazan TV tower of the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network will turn on architectural and artistic lighting scenario dedicated to holding the Kazan Digital Week - 2023 International Forum in the capital of Tatarstan, Kazan.

On September 20, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, the Kazan Digital Week 2023 International IT Forum was launched, where more than 100 sections devoted to innovative technologies will work. In total, more than 20,000 applications were submitted to the Forum.

Kazan residents began to consume more mobile traffic. MegaFon analysts calculated that in August 2023 data transfer volume increased by 41 per cent compared to the same period in 2022.

Letay improved 4G network coverage on socially significant areas. In August, the operator built and upgraded 25 base stations (BS) in 22 settlements of the republic. On September 18, at the Bashir Rameev IT-park in Kazan, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin had a working meeting with khokim of the Chirchik city of the Tashkent region Davron Khidoyatov, which was held under the visit of Uzbekistan delegation to Tatarstan on issues of strengthening cooperation. During the visit, Khidoyatov will also visit Innopolis Special Economic Zone, Khimgrad Technopolis, Alabuga Special Economic Zone and a number of enterprises of the republic.

The winners of the All-Russian hackathon of the project “Digital Breakthrough. Season: Artificial Intelligence” under the presidential platform “Russia – a land of opportunities” were awarded in Nizhny Novgorod. At the end of the hackathon, 30 winning teams shared a prize fund of 10,000,000 roubles. Organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the hackathon is held under the federal project “Artificial Intelligence” of the national project “Digital Economy”.
