On November 16, in Shenzhen (China), Deputy Prime Minister of the republic - Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaykhutdinov, as a member of Tatarstan delegation visited the China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), dedicated to the development, innovation and integration of high-tech industries.
The delegation got acquainted with new gadgets with flexible screens, augmented reality technology, electric vehicles, high-tech simulators for people with disabilities.
On November 16, in Thailand, the World Robot Olympiad, where over 60 countries will compete for medals in the “Primary”, “Creative”, “Student” categories and in the “Football of Robots”. As many as 48 participants, including 11 from Tatarstan, represent Russian team at the contest.

From November, 14 to December, 7, Tatarstan will host the regional championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia), where over 2,000 contestants and experts will take part. Competitions will be held in 83 WorldSkills competencies and 53 WorldSkills Juniors competencies at 38 venues in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Bugulma and other cities.
On December 12-16, 2018, the 2nd WorldSkills Championship in the area of information technology – Digital Skills-2018 will be held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre. Young IT professionals will compete in professional skills in 26 competencies, including development of solutions using blockchain technologies, robotic welding, city farming, quantum technologies, the Internet of things and others.
On October 1-2, 2019, the 3rd IoT World Summit Russia will be held in Kazan.
