The city of Innopolis can become a venue for testing new aircraft – air taxi.

On March 18, the Supervisory Board of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone, chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov will consider projects of new resident-companies.

Digital set-top boxes went on sale in rural post offices of Tatarstan. Now residents of remote settlements can purchase equipment for receiving a digital signal in the nearest post office and do not need to go to the regional centre.

Set-top boxes are available in 500 rural post offices of the republic and 150 urban ones at the lowest possible price not more than 1000 roubles.

On March 13, at the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre, the first group of 40 volunteers was trained to help Kazan citizens to connect the equipment for reception of digital television signal. During the two hour lesson, the volunteers were taught all the peculiarities of digital broadcasting.

Tatarstan schoolchildren continue to accumulate prize points in the regional IT-Champion contest held by the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the republic together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the republic and aimed at developing digital skills of schoolchildren and improve computer literacy of the population. Schoolchildren involve parents and adults in the active use of e-services on the Portal of State Services of the republic to get the maximum number of reward points and to win a smartphone.

Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communication informs the citizens of Naberezhnye Chelny that maintenance works will be carried out in the cities on March 13-14.

On March 12, Virtual employee of Innopolis Mayor’s office - telegram-bot Inna (@InnaHelpBot) learned to process voice requests. Now you can turn to Inna for help by typing a voice message in the messenger - the text response will go back in a couple of seconds.

Forecast Analytics advanced computer system, developed by ICL System Technologies Tatarstan company, a resident of Innopolis Special Economic Zone, helps to predict the failure of complex equipment and to reduce the cost of repairing production equipment by 10 per cent and the risk of production downtime.

Over 192,000 Tatarstan schoolchildren took part in the large-scale All-Russian action “Lesson of Digit", held in the country from February 25 to March 8. During these lessons, students of 1-11 got acquainted with artificial intelligence and machine learning.

On March 30, IT-lyceum of Kazan Federal University will hold the Open Day, where guests can get acquainted with the lyceum, its teachers and prospects offered to students.
