Every day, millions of Russians visit about 38,000 post offices, with more than 26,000 located in rural areas and hard-to-reach areas. Many of these branches need to improve their conditions. Since 2022, on the errand from the President of the Russian Federation, a project to modernize such branches has been implemented under the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State".

From January 27 to February 28, 2025, the Regional Championship of the All-Russian Championship Movement on the professional skills «Professionals» of Tatarstan 2025 was held in stages at the International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications.

On March 4, the Bashir Rameev IT Park hosted a meeting, which discussed results of the recent business mission to the capital of Qatar, Doha and outlined upcoming tasks. The meeting brought together representatives of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization and the IT industry, including Deputy Minister of Digitalization of Tatarstan Bulat Gabdrakhmanov and Director of the IT Park Ruslan Vlasov to discuss the prospects for cooperation with Qatar and share their experience of the trip.

On 4 March at their meeting in the Government House of the republic ,the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Director General of the Russian Post Mikhail Volkov discussed further development of the regional post network, the improvement of quality and accessibility of services for the population, attraction of labour force and the implementation of the logistics capacity of the republic. 

In 2025, Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization continues to implement the federal programme for the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State", aimed at launching 4G communications in villages and towns with a population of 100 to 500 people.

This year, the plan for installing base stations has been increased to 89, which will allow even more people to access high-speed Internet.

Tatarstan ranked second in the federal rating of regional digital transformation leaders for 2024, which was compiled by the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation.

The INDUSTRIX accelerator is recruiting technology projects from students, researchers and entrepreneurs. Applications for the third stream of the Gazprom Neft programme are accepted until March 31, 2025. To participate in the accelerator, it is necessary to send a project presentation.
