Over 5 years of work (2019-2024), the national project "Digital Economy" was aimed at ensuring the availability of digital services to improve the quality of life of citizens and optimize costs in business. Five regional projects were implemented in Tatarstan: information security, digital public administration, digital technologies, information infrastructure, personnel for the digital economy.

According to information received from the branch of Rostelecom Telecommunication Company in Tatarstan, the fiber optic communication cable in the village of Tsarevo, which was damaged as a result of excavation work, was restored. The signal levels were checked, and the damage to the trunk cable was eliminated.
On January 15, near the village of Tsarevo in the Pestrechinsky region of the republic, in the direction of Tyulyachi-Novaya Tura, an incident occurred related to damage to the main fiber-optic communication cable (FOCL). Emergency crews quickly arrived at the accident scene to carry out repairs.
One of the focuses of the work of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization and the IT-Park is the direction of student startups.
The IT technology entrepreneurship programme has resulted in 292 new student start-ups this year, including 67 per cent in IT area.
At the regional Festival of Talents, where every student of Tatarstan can learn about development opportunities in science, sports and creativity, the Children's IT Park team presented a variety of scientific and technical areas of their site.
Tatarstan is among the top 5 regions in the level of "digital maturity" of public administration, economic sectors and the social sphere, having scored 97.5% (with a maximum indicator of 100%).
The direction of support for startups implementing projects for the defense industry, launched this year with the support of the Innovation Development Directorate of Russian Ministry of Defense, also continues to develop.
