On May 28, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin chaired a regular meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Technopark in the sphere of high technologies "IT Park".

Traditionally, in preparation for the Kazan Digital Week-2021 International Forum, the organizers hold a series of webinars on the key topics of the upcoming Forum. The next one, on Intelligent Transport Systems, will take place on June 4 at 10:00 a.m.

The first stage of the 3rd International Contest of Digital Solutions World AI & Data Challenge has already received over 100 socially significant tasks from the regions of Russia, Uzbekistan and Belarus.

These are the tasks of automating the background check of non-profit organization, analyzing farms, digitalizing the management of solid municipal waste, assessing the level of informal employment and forestry management.

The Russian post office is running methane trucks on its routes. The first four KamAZas have already flown on natural gas between the logistics center of Vnukovo and the airports of the Moscow air hub. The Post Office has purchased 190 trucks of 20 tons each, which are scheduled to be delivered by July 2021. The amount of investment amounted to 2.35 billion rubles.

On June 24-25, Kazan will host the 14th annual digital forum ITSF-2021 organized by ICL Group, where over 100 leading experts in information technologies will participate. The conference is organized by the ICL Group. This year the event will be held under the auspices of the company’s 30th anniversary celebration.

On May 25, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin held several workshops on information security, the implementation of security measures and the procedure for the certification of state information systems.

Last weekend the second hakathon of the All-Russian contest «Digital Breakthrough 2021» - «Smart Cities. Industry. Fuel and Energy Complex» ended. During three days IT teams from all over Russia solved 8 digital cases, in two of which - the development of children from our republic were named among the best.

The winner of the “Golos” TV show Dina Garipova presented a subscription to periodicals to the children of the Nurlaty orphanage, the Arsk boarding school and members of the Public Organization of Veterans of Tatarstan.

The Innovation Promotion Fund summed up the results of the competitive selection of IT projects under the Start-1 programme. As many as 160 startups received grant support for digital development, including four projects from Tatarstan.

On May 20, in Kazan, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin held a working meeting with the CEO of the largest educational portal “GeekBrains” Alexander Volchek.
