Tele2 Telecommunication Company and Nokia launched Russia’s first 5G zone at the most important infrastructure facility - the Kazan Metro. The fifth generation network now permeates the entire subway system - the 5G signal is available at all subway stations. Tele2 offers passengers to use the mobile Internet at super speeds by connecting to 5G directly or via Wi-Fi.
MTS and Ericsson Companies deployed a pilot 5G network in Tatarstan at the Innopolis Special Economic. At the launch ceremony, the Motorola edge flagship smartphone showed downloading speeds over 3.5 Gbps.
