Russian Post launched methane-fueled trucks on routes. The first four KamAZ trucks running on natural gas have already made trips between the Vnukovo logistics centre and the airports of the Moscow air hub. In total, the Post purchased 190 vehicles with a carrying capacity of 20 tonnes each, which are scheduled to be on routes by July 2021. The investments amounted to 2.35 billion roubles.
Converting vehicles to methane gas is one of the strategic tasks of the Russian Post.
