On March 1, at the Kazan IT park, the opening of the Children’s IT park, a unique educational platform, where children can gain knowledge in high technologies from robotics and prototyping to digital media and entrepreneurship, took place.
On February 14, couples in love in many countries around the world celebrate Valentine's Day. On this day, the Kazan TV tower of the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network will turn on a festive scenario of architectural and artistic lighting. A festive dynamic lighting show will be turned on from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
In 2021, Tattelecom Telecommunication Company built 2,600 km of fibre-optic communication lines, including about 1,500 km – as part of the implementation of the national programme «Digital Economy of the Russian Federation» on connection of socially significant facilities.
MegaFon Telecommunication Company has compiled the rating of the most «downloading» settlements of the republic. In terms of the average monthly volume of Internet traffic per inhabitant, small settlements of up to 10,000 people became leaders.
In 2022-2023, as many as 825.7 million roubles will be allocated from the federal centre for the implementation of measures to introduce intelligent transport systems (ITS) in Tatarstan, including 385.3 million roubles in the current year and 440.4 million roubles in 2023.
Children’s technopark «Quantorium» in Naberezhnyy Chelny together with «Association of 3D education» of Saint-Petersburg held the regional qualifying stage of the 7th open All-Russian Olympiad in 3D technologies. The event took place under the development of the project «Engineers of the Future: 3D Technologies in Education».
On February 4, IT Park hosted a Lesson of Digit dedicated to the study of cyberattacks. As many as 18 students of gymnasium 10 of the Aviastroitelnyi District of Kazan took part in it. Deputy Minister of Digitalization of the republic Albert Yakovlev and Director of IT-Park Alexander Borisov delivered welcomed the schoolchildren.
Schoolchildren and students from 14 to 22 inclusive can now pay by the Pushkin Card for cinema tickets.
In November 2021, the Russian Ministry of Digital Development launched a new mechanism to support small and medium-sized businesses: companies can purchase Russian software at half of the price by compensating manufacturers for 50 per cent of the cost of the license.
In 2022, Kazan Digital Week is planned to be held from September 21 to 24 in a mixed format: online and offline. The Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre will be a venue for face-to-face events. As many as 150 programme events with participation of about 15,000 people are planned.
