Russian government intends to allocate 37.1 billion roubles from the budget to co-finance the import substitution of foreign digital decisions until 2024. At the same time, 35 Industrial Competence Centres (ICCs) created on behalf of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will form an order for software development in accordance with the needs of different sectors of the economy. They are expected to be headed by the heads of leading companies in the industry, and the participants will be representatives of industry enterprises, experts and vendors - the committees will have to coordinate their personal composition with Russian Ministry of Digital Development.
At the same time, the government expects that the developed software should be not only universal, but also export-oriented. The agreed projects will be approved by the Presidium of the Government Commission for Digital Development. It is planned that vendors will start developing domestic software in October.
