On May 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Communication and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, heads of ministries, agencies and representatives of contractor companies inspected construction of buildings and engineering infrastructure of new satellite town Innopolis.
Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication sent the request to ERTICO International Committee in Brussels on proposing Kazan as a candidate for hosting European congress on intellectual transport systems in 2016.
The Republic of Tatarstan is the first Russian region to finish launching emergency response system 112. Results of state testing of the system that were held in November 2013 were announced positive, Tatarstan experience in the sphere of creating the system 112 was highly estimated.
Every year Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication in cooperation with mobile operators organize events on providing discounts for communication services to veterans and disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War, veterans and disabled veterans of combat operations, and citizens equal to veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

On April 26, within the framework of regional environmental campaign Tatarstan citizens planted 3 million nursery plants of pine, fir, and birch. More than half a million people took part in tree planting. Employees of Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication also took part in tree planting in Vysokaya Gora forest district.
On April 23-27, representatives of pre-university training at Innopolis University organized meetings on Olympiad informatics aimed at improving knowledge in the sphere of making algorithms and programming basics.
In accordance with the decree of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Zaripov Timur Ildarovich and Mubarakshin Azat Faridovich were appointed deputy ministers of Information and Communication.
Citizens can pay for communication and television services on the Portal of state services uslugi.tatarstan.ru. Last month more than 17, 000 payments for the sum of 8.8 million roubles were made on the Portal of state services. The sum of payments has increased twice.
