Three Tatarstan projects, - state information system “Public control”, mobile diagnostic complex “Accessible medicine”, and “Electronic kindergarten” were announced best regional and municipal information projects.

On July 1, at a conference held at Regional press and mass media communications, Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov told that making appointment with specialists of different government agencies will soon be available on the portal of state services.

Representatives of Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication took part in the first All-Russia conference on new public and municipal administration SEVCONF 2014 “Electronic region and municipality. New quality of public and municipal administration in Crimean federal district” (June 26-27, Sevastopol).

On June 27, Russian Minister of Communication and Mass Media Nikolai Nikiforov, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, and Director General of Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Russian post” Dmitry Strashnov took part in solemn foundation stone laying ceremony of Kazan logistics post centre at Kazan international airport.

On June 27, 4G (LTE) network based on technological neutrality principle was launched in Tatarstan. The communication services are provided by ZAO “SMARTS-Kazan” (OAO “Tattelecom).

On June 27, Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov and Director General of State Corporation “Rostechnologii” Sergey Chemezov visited the consturcion site of the special economic zone “Innopolis” in Verkhny Uslon region in Tatarstan.

Graduation of students of Volga state university of telecommunications and informatics in Kazan was held on June 27. Diplomas were presented to 85 students.

On June 26, Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Timur Zaripov took part in a seminar of Russian regions within Volga Federal District on issues of open public administration and public control with participation of Russian Minister Mikhail Abyzov.

Chinese delegation led by Deputy Chairman of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Shi Dagan visited Kazan IT park. The delegation was accompanied by Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov.

On June 27, solemn foundation stone laying ceremony of Logistics post centre will be held at Kazan international airport. Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Russian post” is creating automated sorting centre in Kazan, the largest transport hub in Volga region.
