5th All-Russia IT Olympiad among pensioners will be held in Kazan in August 2015. Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin and Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council on social policy, Chairman of Russian Union of pensioners Valery Ryazansky, and CEO of the Center of Information Technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan Tatyana Kamaletdinova discussed organization of the event.

According to results of three stages of priority registration in domain .TATAR, 101 names have been registered. Among them are amazon.tatar, facebook.tatar, google.tatar, microsoft.tatar, youtube.tatar, innopolis.tatar, kazan.tatar, tatneft.tatar, akbars.tatar.

Due to continuous snowfalls some villages and townships do not have access to the main motorways. Multiple requests to clear the roads are being received in the republic via “Public control” system.

2,835 messages were sent to “Public inspector” system since it was launched last November. Most common problems of refusals are low quality of videos sent by citizens and failure to choose the right category.

On January 13, speaking at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Deputy Minister of Information and Communication of the republic Timur Zaripov said that a total of 69 per cent of complaints filed with the state information system Public Control were given the Complaint Resolved status in 2014.

Video conference briefing on work of state information system “Public control” with participation of Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov and Commissioner for human rights Sariya Saburskaya will be held at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers at 12:00.

OAO “Tattelekom” launched a 1000th LTE base station in Innopolis. “A new Russian city is provided with high-speed 4G mobile network. Residents of the future city will be using 30 Mb/s Internet. Development of such networks improves living standards and business climate," Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov said.

On December 30, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov and Director of Kazan IT-park Anton Grachev met residents of Kazan IT-park to discuss results of the year and plans for the future.
