The Industrial Development Fund of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation will take part in the World Summit Russia Internet of Things to be held in Kazan on October 1-2. Director of the Industrial Development Fund Roman Petrutsa will attend the plenary discussion of the Summit, dedicated to the development of Industry 4.0.

Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaykhutdinov paid a working visit to Malaysia and Singapore, to get acquainted with the main IT-facilities of these countries.

The selection of young roboticists, who will represent our country at the international competitions, was completed at the University of Innopolis. As many as 38 teams from 16 regions came for selection in the categories “Main” and “Robots’ football”. 

Last weekend, in the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest, a large-scale Skills Bazaar, dedicated to the upcoming 45th WorldSkills Competition in Kazan, was held. Guests of the holiday got acquainted with the competences represented at the championship.

Staff of Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communication and subordinate institutions traditionally supported the All-Russian race day "Cross of Nations - 2018", which was held in Tatarstan.

On September 14, at the IT-park of Kazan, a working meeting of Director of the Russian Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC) Sergey Plugotarenko with representatives of Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communication took place. The parties discussed approaches to the development of the federal programme "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation" and the features of integration with the regional programmes.

According to the Tatar-Inform news agency, which reported with reference to the HeadHunter rating, Tatarstan entered the top 5 regions in the number of vacancies in IT area. According to analytics of the service, the region accounts three percent of proposals for IT professionals from employers.

On September 12, on the sidelines of Eastern Economic Forum – 2018 in Vladivostok, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Special Representative of Russian President  on Digital and Technological Development Dmitry Peskov took part in the ceremony of signing letter of intent, which envisages the operating of Megafon Telecommunication Company as a digital partner of the 45th World Championship on professional skills according to WorldSkills standards, which will take place in Kazan on August 22-27, 2019.
Operating Director of MegaFon Company Anna Serebryanikova, Director General of the Young Professionals Union (Worldskills Russia) Robert Urazov and Deputy Prime Minister of the republic - Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov signed the document.

 

As many as 80 schoolchildren of 9-11 grades from 26 regions of the country became "Graduates" of the first design school of the University of Innopolis. During two weeks, they developed projects in the area of information security, distributed registry systems, robotics, geoinformation systems, and chat bots for personalization of content.
