Regional issues of digital development discussed in Kazan
On September 14, at the IT-park of Kazan, a working meeting of Director of the Russian Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC) Sergey Plugotarenko with representatives of Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communication took place. The parties discussed approaches to the development of the federal programme "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation" and the features of integration with the regional programmes.
Representatives of RAEС shared their own developments, including analytical and research projects, expertise of legislation, development of trends and description of the Ecosystem of the Digital Economy of Russia. The participants of the meeting discussed the projects of the Center for Internet Technologies Regional Public Organization. During the meeting, the priority directions of digitalization for the region such as state management, smart city, digital healthcare, personnel and vocational education, industry and trade, transport and housing and communal services, information infrastructure, agro-industrial complex, information security were also discussed.
The participants of the meeting agreed on the development of a methodology for regional research of IT business and digital literacy of Tatarstan users, and also considered the possibility of holding an annual forum "RIF.Kazan" dedicated to Internet business and digitalization in Kazan.
