Until August 23, Tatarstan Ministry of Economy is accepting applications from non-profit organizations implementing socially significant projects for subsidies from the regional budget.

The projects related to the development of civil society institutions and civic initiatives and the establishment of conditions for improving the quality of life of citizens are considered. These include the development of charity, mass sports, digital education, events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic and other areas.

A chatbot, being tested on the Official Portal of Tatarstan State Services, can analyze user questions, find the information they need and have a dialogue both independently and with the help of an operator.

During eight months since the start of the implementation of a pilot project in Almetyevsk on the recognition of faces using cameras, the system helped to arrest 7 criminals and 26 people who committed administrative offenses. According to the results of technology testing, Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communications together with Regional Ministry of Internal Affairs are developing proposals for further implementation of the system in other regions of the republic.

Additional education for women of 51–55 years and men of 56–60 years is available under the federal project “Older Generation” of Demography national project.

On July 29, speaking at a meeting with telecom operators at Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communications, Director of Interregional Infrastructure Group (MIG) Mikhail Gusev said that about 70 of 100 planned communication towers have already been built to date.

Since the beginning of the humanitarian action organized by the Russian Post and Russian Public Television, the Russians have already sent about 13,000 parcels.

The residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Bryansk, Tver, Moscow, Samara, Chelyabinsk regions, Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Tatarstan are taking the most active part in the campaign.

On October 1-2, 2019, Kazan will host the 3rd IoT & AI (the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence) World Summit Russia, which will bring together over 3000 delegates and 200 industry experts from 25 countries, in particular the Netherlands, France, Germany, the USA, Norway, Sweden, Israel , the UK, Russia, Turkey and others.

Tatarstan innovation small enterprises can apply for grants of the Innovation Assistance Fund under the national programme "Digital Economy". Grants are aimed at supporting the development of products, services and platform solutions based on cross-cutting technologies, including artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, new production technologies, robotics and sensor components, wireless communication technologies, distributed registry systems, quantum technologies.
