MIG infrastructure operator to build up to 100 new communication towers in Tatarstan by the end of the year

On July 29, speaking at a meeting with telecom operators at Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communications, Director of Interregional Infrastructure Group (MIG) Mikhail Gusev said that about 70 of 100 planned communication towers have already been built to date.

The MIG is a Tatarstan infrastructure operator established on behalf of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in 2017. The Group was established for the construction of dual-purpose towers and antenna mast structures to facilitate the location of base stations by mobile operators in places with reduced communication quality. During the work in Tatarstan, as many as 229 facilities have already been built, where the equipment of one or more telecom operators is located.
