Director of Luxemburg fund «Mangrove Capital Partners» Mr David Waroquier held the lecture for residents of IT-park

Managing Director of Luxemburg fund «Mangrove Capital Partners» David Waroquier believes that The Republic of Tatarstan is a prospective and attractive region for investments. He announced this at an open lecture “Principles of investing into start-ups. The history of investment into Skype and KupiVip” which took place in technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park”. In the lecture took part representatives of IT-park and Business incubator resident companies. According to David Waroquier such meetings favor closer acquaintance with regional entrepreneurs and make it possible to recognize the needs of a customer in one region or another.
He stressed that the Fund is engaged not in just investing projects but also consulting start-ups. It plays the role of a mentor that does not only manages a project but directs it as well. In doing so much emphasis is put on constant interaction and communication with start-ups.
It has been mentioned before that Head of Luxemburg fund «Mangrove Capital Partners» expressed interest towards projects presented in Business incubator pointing out that readiness to invest needs the detailed analysis.
On june,15 at a meeting with residents of Business incubator parties agreed on preparation of investment projects to study their possible financing by Luxemburg venture fund.
By words of David Waroquier not only the idea of a project is important but courage, ambitiousness and confidence of its leader and presentation skills. Among factors attracting for investor Mr Waroquier pointed out unique character of the idea, orientation to the wide audience, extensive coverage of the project and easiness in realization and application.

Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
