All-Russia computer championship among pensioners opened in Kazan

The 5th All-Russia computer championship among pensioners opened at Kazan IT-park. Representatives of 71 Russian regions, Abkhazia, Belarus, Belgium, Poland, Slovenia, and Finland will take part in the event.
Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the Russian Union of Pensioners Valery Ryazansky, State Secretary – Russian Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection Andrey Pudov, First deputy chairman of Russian Pension Fund Aleksandr Kurtin and Deputy Director of the Department for the development of IT industry of Russian Ministry of Communications and Mass Media Aleksandr Rusinov attended the opening ceremony.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
On November 27, "Technopark in the sphere of high technologies "IT Park" and Globus IT, a leading Russian integrator, signed a strategic agreement to establish a joint laboratory for training IT specialists, focused on building project teams for specific business needs. Director of "IT Park" Ruslan Vlasov and CEO of Globus IT Pavel Korotkiy with the support of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization, represented by Deputy Minister of Digitalization of the republic Bulat Gabdrakhmanov signed the document, which lays the foundation for a fundamentally new approach to technology education.
