Pilot project “Pupil’s card” launched in Tatarstan

Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Information and Communication, State unitary enterprise “Centre of information technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan”, OAO “AK BARS” BANK, and international payment system MasterCard Worldwide are launching an innovative project - “Pupil’s card” in Zelenodolsk region.
Implementation of the project aimed at making non-cash payment by pupils at school and outside began on April 28.
New universal solution united digital access badge, option for non-cash payments, and transport application for public transport.
The project, first of all, aims to create a safe financial platform with high-tech solutions for non-cash payments for children.
On December 11, Moscow hosted this year's important IT events: the awards ceremony for the winners of the "Sprint to the Future - Code of Success!" award and the Sprint 2.0 Accelerator Demo Day.
In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
