Second round of All-Russia programme on development and support of technology entrepreneurship Russian Startup Tour to be held in Kazan on February 6

Second round of All-Russia programme on development and support of technology entrepreneurship Russian Startup Tour will be held in Kazan on February 6 at Kazan IT-park at 10 a.m. Experts of Russian innovative and venture investment market will meet with authors of Tatarstan innovative projects.
Russian Deputy Minister of Communication and Mass Media Mark Shmulevich, Russian Deputy Minister of Finance Andrey Ivanov, the Presidential Adviser of the Skolkovo Fund Pekka Viljakainen, Board Chairman of the Skolkovo Fund Andrey Burenin will open the event.
The meeting will be held within the framework of the Road Show of development institutes Russian Startup Tour that is held on January 20 – April 27 in 27 Russian cities.
Russian Startup Tour is organized by Skolkovo Fund, Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, Russian Venture Company, State Corporation Rosnanotech (ROSNANO). It aims to find high-tech innovative projects, give impetus to development of innovative business activity in regions, help young entrepreneurs to develop efficient strategies for implementation of their projects, and lay foundation to formation of business associations and successful start-up teams.
We invite young developers of innovative projects, start-up teams, technology entrepreneurs, senior students, residents of business incubators and technology parks to take part in the events.
Russian Startup Tour 2014 is meant for innovative projects at design and initial commercialization stages.
About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
Mobile Telecommunication Systems Company reported on its activities in Tatarstan for the year 2025 during a weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization.
Director of the MTS branch in Tatarstan Marat Kabanov outlined key areas of work in 2025 and the achieved results.
On March 27, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvyn held a meeting with Director General of "Info-Obereg" Vladimir Dorofeev.
Such meetings between the minister and representatives of the IT community are held on Fridays in an open dialogue format. These personal meetings provide an opportunity for companies to share their experiences, discuss their projects and seek support.
