Applications for marriage registration can now be signed online using digital signature

On January 21 at a session of the Department of Civil Registry Office the Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov said that 90 per cent of applications are sent online. In comparison with 2012, the number of applications increased and now it makes 116 thousand applications.
Marriage registration is now the most popular service rendered on the portal of state services. It is planned that in 2014 people will be able to apply for marriage registration online using digital signature.
The opportunity to work on a new web platform was one of the most important events in IT industry. The Ministry of Information and Communication and the Department of Civil Registry Office organized training for employees of Civil Registry Office on using the new platform. The platform will be put in commercial operation on March 1, 2014.
