Russian Government publishes plan of IT industry development

Russian Government has published the plan of measures (“the road map”) “Development of IT industry” developed by Russian Ministry of Communication and Mass Media.

The document was signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on December 30, 2013 and posted on the government website on January 8, 2014. It is the 20-page list of measures to be implemented in 2014-2018.

All measures are divided into six sections dedicated to development of IT research and solutions; development of IT infrastructure; training of IT specialists; improvement of institutional conditions for doing IT business; creation of information and analysis base for development of IT industry.
