Digital coach from Tatarstan: An application from an IT park resident will help raise talented athletes

18 June 2026, Thursday

A resident of the Tatarstan IT Park, the UniStat Company has developed an AI-powered video analysis system, that not only identifies young talent but also helps them grow, making a child's path to sports clear and transparent.

Cameras automatically record training sessions or matches. The system tracks the game and simulates the work of an operator, performing zooms and panoramic shots. The AI platform then analyzes the footage and evaluates athletes' skills (speed, useful actions in attack and defense).

Many metrics are imperceptible to the human eye and can only be calculated using machine vision. Based on this data, each player receives a personal digital profile that compiles all results and development charts across key performance indicators. Football and hockey schools, academies and leagues gain access to automated video recording, analytics and a convenient system for automatic match broadcasting.

Each athlete is assigned a rating in an international talent database, accessible to coaches, clubs and player scouts. This significantly increases the chances of a talented child being noticed by a professional club.
