The Bashir Rameev IT Park in Kazan has become one of the key venues for the International Russia-ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Summit, which main agenda became "Russia – ASEAN: Partnership Without Borders."
Government representatives, business leaders and experts are discussing ways to expand business ties, explore new collaborative formats and launch joint projects. The business programme is structured around four tracks:
– "Developing cooperation in IT and AI: Fintech and Smart Cities"
– "International trade, food security and transport and logistics connectivity between Russia and ASEAN countries"
– "EAEU – ASEAN partnership: cooperation in energy, infrastructure and industrial cooperation"
– "Traditional spiritual and moral values and models of state–religious relations in Russia and ASEAN countries."
Under the business forum, an exhibition of technology projects for delegations is being held on the second floor of the Bashir Rameev IT Park. IT companies from Tatarstan presented solutions targeting public servants, sports organizations, industrial enterprises, electric vehicle owners and businesses.
Among the showcased projects are: ICL's product line; projects by the Tatarstan IT Centre to enhance information security; the AI service "GosPrompt"; smart turnstiles "Gorizont M.POS" from Infomatika with contactless payment support; a tracking system for racetracks from the Corporate Innovation Hub in Qatar; alert systems from Mars Technologies; electric vehicle infrastructure from Onder; the "Digital Commissioning" platform from RTSIM for digital commissioning and adjustment work; cryptocurrency payment infrastructure goodPayments from Axiomica; and facial recognition terminals Inoface from Metrika B.
The fifth summit, marking the 35th anniversary of Russia-ASEAN relations, is taking place in Kazan from June 17 to 19. The arrival of 14 delegations is expected, and the signing of agreements is planned during the forum. The main venues for the summit are the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, the Bashir Rameev IT Park, the Galiasgar Kamal Theater and the Center for Unique Craftsmanship, where an exhibition of Tatarstan's achievements is being held. At the venue, 15 IT companies from the republic presented their projects.
