Tatarstan to present IT projects at Russia–ASEAN Summit

15 June 2026, Monday

From June 17 to 19, Kazan will once again become a hub for developing international relations. The Russia–ASEAN Summit will take place in the capital of Tatarstan. The meeting is timed to coincide with the 35th anniversary of the establishment of dialogue between our country and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

An estimated 14 delegations will arrive for the summit. Participants will discuss how to expand Russia's business ties with ASEAN countries and launch joint projects.

An exhibition demonstrating the achievements of Tatarstan opened at the Center of Unique Craftsmanship in Kazan for the delegations attending the Russia–ASEAN Summit. The exhibition features breakthrough projects from IT companies in the republic.

"Fifteen companies from Tatarstan, including government institutions, residents of the IT Park and the Innopolis Special Economic Zone will present innovative IT solutions for industry, agriculture, computer hardware manufacturing, unmanned logistics, sports and other sectors. The projects are ready for export to ASEAN countries," Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvin said.

Exhibition participants and their projects

ICL — a Russian company focused on import substitution of software and hardware, IT infrastructure integration and comprehensive technical support. At its stand, ICL will present its own manufactured products, including computers, laptops and motherboards.

Information Technologies Centre of Tatarstan — a system integrator that has been implementing major infrastructure projects in the republic since 2009. The company will present three key projects to delegates:

The AI service "GosPrompt," which helps 4,000 civil servants and teachers automate routine tasks and improve their efficiency in working with documents and information.

"Unified Digital Platform" The system unifies centralized services and sets common standards for the development and operation of state information systems.

"Universal Workstation" — a project to create secure, centralized workstations based on domestic software.

RTSIM — a company developing dynamic digital twins and simulators for the oil, gas and chemical industries. The flagship product "Digital Startup" allows commissioning and testing of all startup operations for a future plant in a digital environment during the construction phase.

Geopager — a developer of satellite-free navigation and spatial monitoring systems. The "Air Roads" project creates digital sky markings for drone control and safe movement. Using specialized sensors, the technology creates air corridors and provides navigation for drones, reducing delivery times by a factor of 4–6.

International IT Hub in Qatar (Corporate Innovation Hub) — Visitors will learn about an already operational platform through which Tatarstan developers are entering Middle Eastern markets. A tracking system for racetracks will be demonstrated: it monitors horses in real time during races. Another project is "Digital Padel" — a sports VR platform for playing padel tennis using virtual reality headsets.

Axiomica (goodPayments project) — a payment infrastructure that allows accepting cryptocurrency payments for goods and services with automatic conversion to fiat currency into a bank account via a payment agent. The project is successfully operating in Thailand and the UAE (Dubai).

Metrika B — a manufacturer of high-precision biometric terminals, Inoface, which recognizes individuals by facial features.

Applied Robotics — a group of companies that creates drones and robots for agriculture, as well as educational equipment for schools and universities. The exhibition will feature educational kits: robot dogs and robot crocodiles, construction kits for assembling drones of various sizes, as well as digital laboratories and an immersive flight simulator for practicing flights.

The system manages traffic lights in real time and coordinates intersection operations. A project for detecting road incidents has been pilot-launched on several sections in Kazan.

Mars Technologies will present the "Mars-Arsenal" alert system, the "Mars Monitoring" system for monitoring hazardous natural and man-made processes, as well as the RONET technological communication platform, which provides uninterrupted voice communication and video transmission.

SV Proektnye Resheniya (CitySoft) — a video analytics system based on cameras installed on municipal transport. It provides rapid monitoring of incidents and the condition of the street and road network. The technology has been implemented in more than 15 regions of Russia. In Kazan, municipal transport is equipped with 35 cameras, 25 of which operate on city buses.

IT solutions from Tatarstan are already actively entering the international market. For example, the King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) entrusted Infomatika with installing smart turnstiles "Vector Plus" and smart gates "Vector Gate" for people with limited mobility. And this is just one example of cooperation between Tatarstan companies and the global market!

Concurrently, a business forum will be held at the Bashir Rameev IT Park, with the main theme "Russia–ASEAN: Partnership Without Borders".
