On June 9, men aged 60 and over, women aged 55 and over, and their grandchildren will join forces as family teams to take on the challenges of the computer multidiscipline championship in Kazan. The final of the republican Championship "Khikmet" — "Connection of Generations" will take place at the Bashir Rameev IT Park (2 Spartakovskaya St.).
Start time: 11:00 AM.
The championship's greatest strength lies in intergenerational teamwork. Schoolchildren help their grandparents master modern digital services, while grandparents share their wisdom and experience with them. Together, they prove that learning new things is possible at any age, especially with a reliable and loving helper by your side. Grandparents can feel more confident in the modern digital environment, while teenagers learn to explain complex things simply and patiently.
The contest will feature 180 participants from 45 regions of Tatarstan – winners of municipal qualifying rounds. Each team consists of two relatives: a man aged 60+ or a woman aged 55+, and their grandson or granddaughter under 14.
Participants will solve real-life tasks: schedule doctor appointments, pay for public services, safely work with email, office documents and browsers. A separate module is dedicated to new technologies – tasks involving artificial intelligence and the national messenger "Max."
The organizers of the championship are the regional branch of the Union of Pensioners of Russia in Tatarstan, the Branch of the Social Fund of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Digital Development of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Labor of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of Tatarstan, as well as the Council of municipal formations of the republic of Tatarstan and the IT Park.
