Centre of information technologies to carry out monitoring of all intercity bus routes in GLONASS+112 system

From February 1, 2014 all Tatarstan buses that realize intercity passenger transportations will be provided with GLONASS monitoring devices and displayed in Unified State Information System GLONASS+112. All 615 intercity buses are to be connected to the system.
According to Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, the Centre of information technologies has realized monitoring of school buses since 2010, and as a result, accident rate reduced by 95 per cent.
Currently, monitoring of 634 school buses is carried out. By the end of the year, 106 buses of secondary schools and 122 buses of sports schools will be connected to the system.
To the point, at a joint session of Tatarstan Government and Ministry of the Interior, Minister of Transport and Roads Lenar Safin informed that all intercity transportation contracts expire in 2013, and new contracts that will involve monitoring as a compulsory condition should be signed.

In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
