Tatarstan residents can print photos of World War II Veterans at Multifunctional Centers

27 March 2026, Friday

Residents of Tatarstan can print photos of World War II veterans free of charge at MFC centers for the “Immortal Regiment” procession.

The great celebration — Victory Day — is approaching. Tatarstan residents can print photos of their relatives at any time, though most requests typically come before May holidays.

Photos can be brought from family albums or submitted electronically. Interested individuals can scan, enlarge and print portraits of veterans in A4 format. It is advisable to request the service in advance, as delivery of the finished color photograph may take up to five business days. Black-and-white photos are printed immediately.

MFC staff will also assist residents in participating in the “Faces of Victory” project. This initiative aims to preserve the memory of everyone who contributed to the Victory and pass it on to future generations. The same photo of the veteran used for printing can be uploaded to the project’s historical database, designed to store over 150 million biographies, along with information about the veteran.

You can also share your relative’s story independently on the project’s website. After moderation, the portrait will be featured in the “People’s Exhibition,” which is accessible online and at the Museum of Victory.
