According to the results of 2025, Tatarstan ranked as one of the leaders in the digital transformation rating among Russian regions. Alongside the republic, the leading positions were taken by Belgorod, Sakhalin, Chelyabinsk regions and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.

Deputy Prime Minister - Chief of Staff of the Government of Russia Dmitry Grigorenko is Regional Digital Transformation Supervisor. The assessment covered 18 key indicators, including public services, AI adoption, import substitution of digital solutions and cybersecurity.

Key achievements of Tatarstan:

Active implementation of AI-based digital solutions.

In 2025, the republic launched the “Gosprompt” platform for civil servants, covering about 150 different tasks, more than 3,000 people using this service.

Another unique platform, “Teacher’s Assistant,” analyzes lesson recordings and provides recommendations to improve teaching efficiency.

Other notable accomplishments:

Tatarstan maintains leading positions in cybersecurity, broadband internet in social institutions and software import substitution.

Already in 2021, all regional and municipal services in Tatarstan were transferred to e-format, allowing citizens to save time and access all necessary services online without leaving home.

Official remarks:

“Tatarstan’s high position in the digital transformation rating is primarily due to the team’s efforts. And I am not just talking about colleagues from ministries and agencies. Huge gratitude to Rustam Nurgaliyevich Minnikhanov and Shamil Khamitovich Gafarov — without their systemic support and understanding of the importance of digitalization, we simply could not be moving at this pace. But there are also other people we owe this result to — the residents of the republic. Our services become convenient only because people use them, leave comments and suggest ideas. This feedback prevents us from resting. Special thank you for that,” Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvin said.
